Enrollment Information

Morning Glory Montessori Preschool is open to all children, regardless of race, nationality, or creed, who may benefit from this type of program. Our age range is from 2 years 6 months to 6 years of age.

Our waiting list consists of those interested in attending our school, BUT the order on the list is not necessarily the order of acceptance. To keep a balance of ages in the Montessori classroom, it is necessary to fill the class by the child needed to keep a certain ratio of different aged children. To put your name on the waiting list contact us by phone or email. We will need name of child’s legal guardians, phone number, address, child’s name, birthdate, number of days looking to enroll and your email address for our waiting list. There is no deposit required to add your name.

Admissions is started in the beginning of March. There is no application process necessary. Once your child receives a spot in our program you will be mailed an enrollment packet. A $200 registration fee and the first month of tuition will be needed to hold your child’s spot in our Montessori Program. The Registration Fee and the First Month of Tuition guarantees your spot in our program and is non-refundable.

There is a one time non-refundable registration fee of $200.00 when you enroll your child for the 1st time at Morning Glory. Tuition is payable in advance of every month. The tuition is calculated for a 10 month school year. It is broken into 10 monthly installments for your convenience.

2018-2019 Monthly Rates:

• 5 days a week: $1050
• 3 days: $900
• 2 days: $800

During months that have vacations you are still responsible to pay the full installments for that month. The school depends on each month’s tuition to pay current expenses. All fees are due prior to the month of attendance. Please pay each month’s tuition on or before the first day of the month. Late payments after the 5th will be charged a $25.00 late fee.

There will be an overtime charge for children consistently not picked up at regular dismissal time (12:45-1pm). We realize unforeseen occurrences happen and we are willing to be flexible, so please discuss any special needs you may have.

A $100 yearly Technology Fee will be required in September for Curacubby and Kaymbu use.

*Please remember no credit on tuition is given for scheduled school holidays, vacations, or the short month in June.

Your child’s heath is a matter of major importance for us. Upon enrollment, you must file a health form signed by your physician which dates all your child’s immunizations, and tuberculin clearance. This is a requirement by the state and county health offices.

Your child may be sent home if he/she appears to have symptoms of illness during the day. In such cases he/she will be isolated from peers and a parent or approved guardian will be contacted. Please keep your child home until an illness is over. If a child returns too soon he/she risks re-infection due to low resistance and does not participate actively in the classroom activities. Please call or email MGM staff to inform us of any communicable disease so that we are able to inform other parents of the exposure.

In case of accidental injury, we will make an immediate attempt to contact the parent. If we can not reach you or the child’s In Case of Emergency contacts, we will call the child’s physician. If necessary we will also call an ambulance. The director will be in charge of making all decisions in the best interest of the child. You will be expected to assume responsibility for any resultant expenses. We do have accident insurance for all the children attending school. It is to your child’s benefit that you keep the school up-to-date on all phone numbers, emergency numbers, and other pertinent personal information.
